AVVISO PER LA PRESENTAZIONE DI PROGETTI PER RESIDENZA ARTISTICA CON CONTRIBUTO DI PRODUZIONE E CIRCUITAZIONE PER ARTISTI UNDER 35

TWAIN Centro di Produzione Danza e struttura capofila di PERIFERIE ARTISTICHE Centro di Residenza Multidisciplinare del Lazio indice, sotto la direzione di Loredana Parrella, il Bando per la VI edizione del “Premio Twain_direzioniAltre“, con sostegno alla produzione, residenza artistica e circuitazione per Artisti Under35.

I progetti vincitori delle precedenti edizioni sono: nel 2017 “ReRality” di Anna Giustina e “Non Ricordo” di Simone Zambelli (Menzione Speciale); nel 2018 ex-aequo “Beast Without Beauty” di Carlo Massari e “Wallpaper” di Sara Angius; sempre un ex-aequo per Pablo Girolami con “Manbhusa” e Manolo Perazzi con “Fermo Immagine” nel 2019; “Alessandria Eschate” di Mattia Cason per il 2020 e infine “Entanglement_Studio 2” di Lorenzo di Rocco e Jennifer Lavinia Rosati nell’ultima edizione 2021.

A chi è rivolto
Sono invitati a partecipare tutti gli autori italiani ed europei, che non abbiano compiuto 36 anni al 31 dicembre 2022; nel caso di più autori i 2/3 di essi devono essere under 35.

 

Progetti ammissibili
Sono ammessi progetti legati alla danza contemporanea, in fase di studio o allestimento e che non abbiano debuttato in forma completa, ma solo in forma di studio.

Verranno selezionati fino a 6 progetti che saranno presentati nella loro forma scenica (non inferiore a 5 minuti e non superiore a 15 minuti), ad una commissione di esperti ed operatori presso il Supercinema di Tuscania (VT) il 27 Agosto 2022 (a porte chiuse per la sola Commissione) e il 28 Agosto 2022 (serata aperta al pubblico e premiazione del Vincitore). I Finalisti riceveranno un rimborso spese, ospitalità nelle foresterie del Centro, scheda tecnica di base con assistenza tecnica.

 

Il Premio
Il progetto vincitore riceverà un sostegno alla produzione per la Stagione 2022/2023 così definito:

• Residenza Artistica all’interno di PERIFERIE ARTISTICHE Centro di Residenza Multidisciplinare del Lazio presso il Supercinema di Tuscania per un totale di 15 giorni da svolgersi nel periodo Gennaio-Agosto 2023;
• Contributo economico da un minimo di € 1.200 ad un massimo di € 7.000 lordi (a seconda del numero di artisti coinvolti nel progetto con obbligo di presentazione di certificato di agibilità per le 15 giornate di Residenza);
• Affiancamento di un “Tutor” scelto dalla Direzione Artistica (drammaturgo, coreografo, operatore teatrale ecc.) durante le fasi della residenza;
• Programmazione di una replica nella stagione di Twain Centro Produzione Danza 2023 con un cachet fino ad un massimo di € 1.000 lordi;
• Programmazione di una replica nel Festival Tendance 2023 con cachet massimo di € 1.000 da concordare con la Direzione Artistica del Festival;
• INOLTRE uno o più progetti Finalisti potranno essere inseriti (con la versione presentata per il Premio Twain) nella programmazione di Dominio Pubblico – La Città agli Under 25 che si svolgerà a Roma a Giugno/Luglio 2022, con le medesime condizioni economiche che verranno riconosciute agli autori per le finali del Premio Twain_direzioniAltre;
• Possibilità di inserimento nella Programmazione 2023 del Festival Mirabilia con modalità e tempistiche concordate con la Direzione Artistica del Festival;
• Possibilità di inserimento in Residenza in Tuscania Danza/Progetti per la Scena organizzato da Vera Stasi;
• Possibilità di inserimento in Residenza presso il Teatro di Bucine/Diesis Teatrango con modalità e tempistiche concordate con la Direzione Artistica del Teatro;
• Possibilità di inserimento nella Programmazione 2023 del Festival Quartieri dell’Arte con modalità e tempistiche concordate con la Direzione Artistica del Festival.

 

Crediti d’obbligo

I progetti finalisti dovranno riportare nei crediti: “Finalista Premio Twain_direzioniAltre”.
Il progetto vincitore dovrà riportare nei crediti: “Vincitore Premio Twain_direzioniAltre” e “Con il Sostegno alla produzione TWAIN Centro di Produzione Danza e PERIFERIE ARTISTICHE – Centro di Residenza Multidisciplinare del Lazio”.

• Link video (youtube o vimeo) minimo 5 minuti max 15 minuti del lavoro proposto (sono accettati anche video di prove in sala)

Le domande incomplete o non firmate saranno automaticamente escluse.

 

Termine ultimo di presentazione delle domande
Tutte le proposte dovranno pervenire via e-mail all’indirizzo [email protected], entro e non oltre l’8 Maggio 2022. Le candidature ricevute oltre tale data non verranno accolte. Entro il 20 Maggio 2022 verrà data comunicazione alle compagnie selezionate per le finali.

 

Modalità di selezione

I progetti verranno valutati, a giudizio insindacabile, dalla Direzione Artistica di Twain. Verranno selezionati un massimo di 6 progetti che verranno invitati a presentare in forma scenica il loro progetto il 27 e 28 Agosto 2022 presso il Supercinema di Tuscania (VT). I candidati si esibiranno il 27 in presenza della sola giuria di esperti che decreterà il vincitore e il 28 in presenza del pubblico al termine della quale verrà annunciato il vincitore. Le compagnie avranno a disposizione una scheda tecnica standard e assistenza.
Per le finali alle compagnie prescelte verrà riconosciuto – previa presentazione di agibilità Ex-Enpals e regolare fattura – un cachet di € 200 per i soli, € 300 per i duetti, € 400 per trio e quartetti, ai finalisti verrà inoltre garantita l’ospitalità nelle foresterie del Teatro. I finalisti saranno ospitati per tutta la durata del festival a partire dal 24 Agosto 2022. Qualora non sia possibile è richiesto l’arrivo entro e non oltre la serata del 26 Agosto. Le prove tecniche delle finali avranno inizio alle 9.00 del giorno 27.

NOTICE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS FOR ARTISTIC RESIDENCE WITH CONTRIBUTION OF PRODUCTION AND CIRCULATION FOR UNDER35 ARTISTS

TWAIN Centro di Produzione Danza and leader structure of di PERIFERIE ARTISTICHE Centro di Residenza Multidisciplinare del Lazio announces, under the direction of Loredana Parrella, the Call for the 6th edition of the “Premio Twain_direzioniAltre“, with support for production, artistic residency and circulation for Under35 artists .

The winning projects of the previous editions are: in 2017 “ReRality” by Anna Giustina and “Non Ricordo” by Simone Zambelli (Special Mention); in 2018 ex-aequo “Beast Without Beauty” by Carlo Massari and “Wallpaper” by Sara Angius; always an ex-aequo for Pablo Girolami with “Manbhusa” and Manolo Perazzi with “Fermo Immagine” in 2019; “Alessandria Eschate” by Mattia Cason for 2020 and finally “Entanglement_Studio 2” by Lorenzo di Rocco and Jennifer Lavinia Rosati in the latest 2021 edition.

Who is it for?

All Italian and European authors who have not turned 36 on 31 December 2022 are invited to participate; in the case of several authors, 2/3 of them must be under 35.

 

Eligible projects

Projects related to contemporary dance, under study or in staging phase and which have not debuted in full form, but only in the form of a studio, are admitted.

Up to 6 projects will be selected and presented in their scenic form (not less than 5 minutes and not more than 15 minutes), to a commission of experts and operators at the Supercinema of Tuscania (VT) on 27 August 2022 (behind closed doors) for the Commission only) and on 28 August 2022 (evening open to the public and awarding of the Winner). The Finalists will receive a reimbursement of expenses, hospitality in the guest rooms of the Center, a basic technical data sheet with technical assistance.

 

The prize

The winning project will receive production support for the 2022/2023 season defined as follows:

• Artistic Residence within PERIFERIE ARTISTICHE Centro di Residenza Multidisciplinare del Lazio at the Supercinema of Tuscania for a total of 15 days to be held in the period January-August 2023;
• Economic contribution from a minimum of € 1,200 to a maximum of € 7,000 gross (depending on the number of artists involved in the project with the obligation to present a certificate of viability for the 15 days of residence);
• Support of a “Tutor” chosen by the Artistic Direction (playwright, choreographer, theater operator, etc.) during the residency phases;
• Programming of a rerun of the show in the Twain Centro Produzione Danza 2023 season with a fee up to a maximum of € 1,000 gross;
• Programming of a rerun of the show in the Tendance 2023 Festival with a maximum fee of € 1,000 to be agreed with the Artistic Direction of the Festival;
• ALSO one or more Finalist projects can be included (with the version presented for the Twain Award) in the programming of the Dominio Pubblico – La Città agli Under 25 Festival which will take place in Rome in June / July 2022, with the same economic conditions that will be recognized to the authors for the Twain_direzioniAltre Award finals;
• Possibility of inclusion in the 2023 Programming of the Mirabilia Festival with methods and timing agreed with the Artistic Direction of the Festival;
• Possibility of insertion in the Residence in Tuscania Danza/Progetti per la Scena organized by Vera Stasi;
• Possibility of insertion in the Residence at the Teatro di Bucine/Diesis Teatrango with methods and timing agreed with the Artistic Direction of the Theater;
• Possibility of inclusion in the 2023 Programming of the Quartieri dell’Arte Festival with methods and timing agreed with the Artistic Direction of the Festival.

 

Credits required

The finalist projects must report in the credits: “Finalista Premio Twain_direzioniAltre”. The winning project must include in the credits: “Vincitore Premio Twain_direzioniAltre” and “With support for production TWAIN Centro di Produzione Danza e PERIFERIE ARTISTICHE – Centro di Residenza Multidisciplinare del Lazio “.

Application form completed in all its points (see form at the bottom of the Notice) and signed.

And attach the following documents:

• Project Artistic Sheet (max 2 folders)
• CV of the author (s) (max 2 folders)
• CV for interpreters (max 2 folders)
• Production credits and any other supporters
• Video link (youtube or vimeo) minimum 5 minutes max 15 minutes of the proposed work (rehearsal videos are also accepted)
• any video links to previous works

Incomplete or unsigned applications will be automatically excluded.

 

Deadline for submitting applications

All proposals must be sent by e-mail to the address [email protected], no later than May 8, 2022. Applications received after this date will not be accepted. The companies selected for the finals will be notified by May 20, 2022.

 

Selection mode

The projects will be evaluated, at the sole discretion, by the Twain Artistic Direction. A maximum of 6 projects will be selected and invited to present their project in scenic form on 27 and 28 August 2022 at the Supercinema of Tuscania (VT). The candidates will perform on the 27th in the presence of only the jury of experts who will decide the winner and on the 28th in the presence of the public at the end of which the winner will be announced. The companies will have a standard technical data sheet and assistance at their disposal.

For the finals, the selected companies will be awarded – upon presentation of Ex-Enpals usability and regular invoice – a cachet of € 200 for the solos, € 300 for the duets, € 400 for the trio and quartets, the finalists will also be guaranteed hospitality in the guest rooms of the Theater. The finalists will be hosted for the entire duration of the festival starting from August 24th 2022. If this is not possible, arrival is required no later than the evening of August 26th. The technical tests of the finals will start at 9.00 on the 27th.
